‘STUDIO’ CLOSES DOORS

IT could be curtains for “Studio 60.”

Aaron Sorkin’s low-rated NBC drama is being yanked off the schedule Feb. 26 to accommodate the premiere of “The Black Donnellys,” NBC announced yesterday.

“Studio 60,” starring Amanda Peet and Matthew Perry, scored its lowest-ever ratings this past Monday night.

The heavily hyped show from Sorkin (“The West Wing,” “Sports Night“) bowed to low numbers last fall and never got off the ground.

A common gripe from critics is that the show’s “Saturday Night Live“-type sketch-comedy show-within-a-show just isn’t funny.

It’s not clear, at this point, if “Studio 60” will return.
