COVERGIRL KERI RUSSELL SHOOTS WEB

Keri Russell’s next role will be a Web-only event.

The perky, very pregnant actress now getting rave reviews for her role in “Waitress” will debut next month in “The Keri Kronicles” – part reality TV show and part sitcom – which will be filmed at her Manhattan home and cover her life pre- and post-baby, The Post has learned.

But “Kronicles” isn’t a pure entertainment vehicle. It’s a marketing campaign by CoverGirl, the cosmetics brand Russell signed on with last year and represents the latest tack companies have taken to reach their target audiences.

“CoverGirl partnered with Keri to create the ‘Kronicles’ in order to bring our consumers more information about a CoverGirl they love,” said Kerry Cavanaugh, CoverGirl brand manager. “A look into the daily life of Keri at this exciting time will allow users to connect with her on a more personal level.”

Russell, who rose to fame as the star of “Felicity,” will be seen on “Kronicles” only on MySpace, which, like The Post, is owned by News Corp.

Jarrod Moses, president and CEO of Alliance, the marketing and branding company that created the campaign, said it’s an “on-line content promotional program that recognizes the need to communicate with the CoverGirl consumer on a one-on-one basis.”
