PRINCIPAL PACT

New York City public-school principals and other administrators overwhelmingly ratified their contract deal with the city that calls for a 23 percent raise in exchange for fewer seniority rights, their union announced yesterday.

The Council of Schools Supervisors and Administrators, which tentatively struck the long-awaited agreement last month, said 93 percent of voting members approved the seven-year pact retroactive to June 2003.
