MR. SOFTEE DEALT HARD DRUGS: COPS

Do you want sprinkles with that marijuana?

A Mister Softee ice cream man was arrested yesterday for selling drugs out of his truck in Queens, police said.

He was also packing enough heat to melt all his wares – cops found a loaded .380-caliber pistol atop a soft-serve machine just two feet away from the window.

Worst of all, Jermaine Jordan was collared at 5 p.m. allegedly dishing his cocaine and marijuana in front of IS 8, also known as Richard Grossley Junior HS, in Jamaica.

Jordan, 26, allegedly took a page from the movie, “Cheech and Chong’s Nice Dreams,” in which the comedians played pot dealers disguised as ice cream men.

Cops got a tip about the sales about two months ago, then began surveillance along his route.

Customers would walk up to the truck, place a combined ice cream and drug order, and Jordan would put the dope under the scoops in doubled Mister Softee cups, police said.

Marijuana was sold in $25 bags, while cocaine came in various denominations of “snow” cones, police said.

Jordan, of St. Albans, Queens, sold the drugs at various spots along his route, but only to people he knew and felt comfortable with, police said.

Cops said he parked in front of the school at the same time every afternoon, using the large volume of regular young customers as cover for the drugs.

Over the summer, the school is used as a day camp for about 165 kids, ages 8 to 12.

The truck was in a filthy condition when cops found it, loaded with packages of marijuana and cocaine.

“Grimy would be a good way to describe it,” said NYPD Capt. Jimmy Coan of the Queens North Narcotics Squad.

Jordan, who was arrested on a gun charge in June 2006, faces several drug charges and a weapons charge.

Jordan had been renting the truck from a man who owned the Mister Softee license – who allegedly had no idea what was going on.
