MEET MARKET

‘I’M a fun, independent girl,” Stacy, 26, says. “I love to laugh, always look on the bright side of things and tend to say what’s on my mind. Sometimes the words tumble out of my mouth before I have a chance to censor them.”

Perhaps she honed the latter quality during the extensive hours she’s logged at Yankee Stadium, where she freely mouths off with a hot dog and $8 Budweiser in hand and fellow Bronx Bombers fans at her side.

Outside the stadium, the rest of the city beckons: New restaurants, movies and shopping all top her list. And for this assistant buyer, nice handbags are a particular weakness.

But while Stacy favors luxury goods characteristic of the nose-upturned, she prefers the company of the down-to-earth. “I’m looking for somebody with humility,” she says. “Someone who isn’t absorbed with themselves.”

Think you can handle her occasional bout of stubbornness and her surplus Louis Vuitton? Batter up, buddy.

Daniel, 26, operations manager

People’s first impressions of you? Comfortable and accepting.

What’s sexy? Simplicity is sexy. Being down-to-earth is attractive.

Ideal date? In general, something simple and relaxed: a basketball game, getting coffee or seeing a movie.

Pet peeve? I’m pretty tolerant, but I don’t like it when someone feels they’re entitled to everything.

Deal breakers? Lying lips and a deceitful mind.

What would your ex say about you? “This guy is like great wine – he has good qualities and just gets sweeter with time.”

Anything else? I once ate 32 slices of pizza in one sitting.

Rich, 27, finance sales executive

Your idea of fun? Taking a stroll and people-watching in one of the city’s many parks on a nice summer day. Trying a different cuisine at a hot new restaurant in town. Traveling to foreign countries.

What’s attractive? Confidence without being over the top, drive and ambition, straight hair and light eyes.

Guilty pleasure? Any dessert with chocolate in it. I also try to stay trendy, so buying a new pair of jeans or a blazer in SoHo.

Deal breakers? Women with no ambition or independence.

What would your mom say about you? That I have a big heart and have a lot to offer someone.

Andy, 28, network administrator

Describe yourself: I’m laid-back and enjoy the nightlife. I dine out often and have been labeled a foodie by peers. I like to make people laugh with silly antics, self-deprecation and sarcasm.

Your type of girl? I’m into the wholesome girl-next-door look. I absolutely need a girl who has a good sense of humor, does not get embarrassed easily, is ambitious, adventurous, smart, and both sexy and dorky at the same time.

Ideal date? I’m a fairly traditional movie/show/music/sports event kind of guy.

Anything else? Yes, I do wax my eyebrows. Thanks for asking!
