A couple of heartless thieves robbed two children at gunpoint inside their grandparents’ Ridgewood home and made off with $45,000 worth of jewelry, sources said.

The grandparents went shopping, leaving the victims, ages 12 and 4, alone at around 11 a.m. Wednesday, the sources said.

While the adults were gone, two men opened the unlocked front door and went upstairs into a back bedroom where the children were watching television, law-enforcement sources added.

The robbers asked, “Where is the money?” but the children did not respond, the sources said.

That prompted one of the thugs to pull out a handgun, point it at both children and cock the weapon as he demanded again to know where money was located, the sources added.

The children still didn’t answer, and the second suspect allegedly pointed to the bathroom and said, “Go inside here and we won’t hurt you.”

The thieves took the jewelry and $100, the grandmother later told cops.

About 10 minutes after they were ordered inside the bathroom, the children ran home to tell their mother what had happened, the sources said.

No arrests have been made.

A man has been charged with the sexual assault of a 13-year-old in a Jamaica housing development after the victim’s mother caught the two in a stairwell, law-enforcement sources said.

Jemmal Bryan, 29, was accused of following the girl into an elevator inside the South Jamaica development at around 7:30 a.m. Aug. 18, and sexually assaulting her until they got to her floor, where she screamed.

However, the sources said it now appears the girl went willingly with her assailant.

Bryan was arrested and charged with attempted rape of a person under 15, police said yesterday.

His only prior conviction is for marijuana possession, sources said.

A sneaky thief, who climbed a fire escape, crept past a sleeping tenant and stole the victim’s wedding ring from his nightstand, was busted trying to burglarize the same home the next day, authorities said.

The victim was snoozing in his second-floor apartment on Walton Avenue near East 164th Street at around 6 a.m. Aug. 19, when he awoke to noise on the fire escape and saw Robert Ashley, 24, scrambling back down to the street, a Criminal Court complaint states.

The man then realized his wedding ring was not where he had placed it before going to bed, records show.

At around 1:40 a.m., the next day, Ashley returned to the fire escape and peered into the window, but this time the victim called cops, who arrived in time to nab the burglar before he made it inside, the document states.

Ashley allegedly tried to run from cops and threatened the victim, as well as his children, saying, “Watch when I get out. You got your kids. Somebody’s gonna pay.”

He was charged with burglary, trespass, resisting arrest and harassment.

Three hulking thieves surrounded a man inside a Stapleton deli and stole his cellphones, authorities said.

Devon Curry, 24, Anthony Harris, 34, and Malcolm Medley, 24, who each stand at least 6 feet tall, surrounded the victim inside the bodega at Broad and Cedar streets at around 7:30 p.m. Aug. 19, and snatched the electronics from his pockets, a Criminal Court complaint charges.

When cops caught up with the trio, Medley had a gravity knife on him, records state.

Police charged all three with grand larceny and possession of stolen property. Medley was also charged with weapon possession, according to a spokesman for District Attorney Dan Donovan.
