PILL-POP TART

Blitzed-out Britney Spears downed a potentially lethal cocktail of 100 prescription pills – and washed it down with a “Purple Monster” mix of vodka, NyQuil and Red Bull – before her mental meltdown, sources said.

The burnt-out star’s 36-hour binge allegedly included 10 sleeping pills, 12 Vicodins, six Ritalins and 10 Zantacs. She gulped them down with the mind-melting drink, according to London’s News of the World.

Amid her breakdown, the crazed Spears, 26, called her pregnant teen kid sister to boast that she’d be making her own headlines again very soon, the paper said.

“You’re not going to be the only f – – – ing Spears on the front cover of a magazine next week!” she shouted to Jamie Lynn, 16, shortly before cops arrived at the pop wreck’s Los Angeles home, a source said.

“Britney was wailing and sobbing uncontrollably, then she just flipped,” the source told News of the World.

“Her hysteria went up a notch, and she ran with the children into a walk-in wardrobe and slammed the door behind her.”

Jamie Lynn – the star of Nickelodeon’s tween hit “Zoey 101” – drew global attention last month when news broke that she was having a baby with her high-school sweetheart, Casey Aldridge.

Pagesix.com reported that after checking out of Cedars-Sinai Hospital early Saturday, Brit first went to her Beverly Hills home and then out with photographer Adnan Ghalib.

The two showed up at a restaurant in Palm Desert, Calif., yesterday, the Las Vegas Review-Journal said.

“She seemed in a really good mood, laughing with the guy she was with,” People magazine quoted the restaurant manager saying – adding she had a “champagne mimosa to drink” and stayed about an hour.

She broke down Thursday night when members of ex-hubby Kevin Federline’s crew came to pick up the two young sons he has with the “Toxic” singer.

Spears’ parents were preparing to tape a show today with Dr. Phil McGraw, the TV shrink who had hoped to do an intervention with Britney at the hospital.

But the McGraw’s presence was not as warmly received by the fallen star at Cedars-Sinai as reports Saturday suggested.

Rather than having a one-hour heart-to-heart, they actually spent just 15 minutes together, and Britney blew him off, sources told TMZ.

“Based on the interaction between Dr. Phil and Britney . . . it’ll be a cold day in hell before Britney goes on his show,” the source said.

Meanwhile, Britney’s kids, Jayden James, 1, and Sean Preston, 2, have been with Federline in LA since Friday.

After her meltdown, Britney lost her visiting rights. Her ex had already been granted custody of the boys.

At some point, Britney is expected to check herself into a private treatment facility to deal with her mounting issues.

“It was very upsetting Saturday, just worrying about it all day,” Britney’s aunt, Linda Brandon-Kjos, told People.

“We’re all just hoping and praying she’s fine. She’s a sweet, sweet girl and people aren’t seeing that side of her.”

Britney’s former dance teacher Renee Donewar told the mag, “She’s got to be reaching out for something, and no one knows what it is. It is so sad that the people that are close to her can’t reach through to her.”
