NIXZMARY BLOOD ALL OVER APT.

Nixzmary Brown’s blood was found on the walls of the spare room where her parents exiled her, on a towel, a blanket, duct tape, two pillows and even on the kitty litter box she was forced to use as a toilet, a DNA expert testified yesterday.

Jurors, hearing testimony for the first time in nearly a week, looked grim as the expert, Taylor Dickerson, said that 11 of 46 pieces of feces found in the box were of human origin.

Only one of those samples could be definitively matched to one particular human being.

“It was Nixzmary Brown’s DNA profile,” said Dickerson.

In all, he said, Nixzmary’s blood was found in 12 places in the three-bedroom apartment.

“This is really about how she lived, because how she lived is how she died,” said the chief prosecutor on the case, Ama Dwimoh. “The fact is, she was tortured.”

The 7-year-old child’s blood also was found in seven different spots on the jeans worn the morning of Jan. 11, 2006, by her stepfather, Cesar Rodriguez, who is being tried for her murder.
