MADDIE KIN SELLING TALE

The parents of missing British tot Madeleine McCann are negotiating with broadcasters in the United States and United Kingdom to sell their story.

Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters have offered nearly $2 million each for exclusive interviews with Gerry and Kate McCann about the disappearance of their daughter during a vacation in Portugal last year, The Times of London reported.

The McCanns are also considering bids from documentary filmmakers, requesting a “donation” for their participation in the films. They are also in discussions with ABC about producing a feature-length film on the saga.

The McCanns have been forced to consider selling the story because their “Find Madeleine” fund is expected to run dry by June.
