EXCITED GIANTS TOUCH DOWN

Even the flight attendant noticed how pumped up the Giants were on their plane ride to Arizona.

The Giants touched down a little later than scheduled tonight, 4 p.m. local time, at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, and they couldn’t wait to start their real-live Super Bowl experience.

“The stewardess mentioned it a couple of times, that they were excited,” Tom Coughlin said of his players at his first Super Bowl Week press conference.

“They were looking forward to it, trying to capture the moment if you will.”

Eli Manning said, “It was just like any other flight; some guys were watching movies, some guys were sleeping, some guys were listening to music.”

Manning tried a little of all three, but his movie-watching experience left a lot to be desired. He said he tried to watch “Michael Clayton,” then “Gone Baby Gone,” but both movies malfunctioned and he never got to see the end of either.

The Giants arrived a day later than the Patriots, who showed up last night and practiced today — with quarterback Tom Brady on hand.
