WOMAN DIES IN B’KLYN FIRE

A woman died yesterday after her Brooklyn home erupted in flames following a gas explosion, the FDNY said.

The blaze broke out at 2:46 p.m. at 1359 E. 55th St. in Flatlands, officials said.

Firefighters found Tamara Rawner, 24, dead on the floor in a second story bedroom, Chief Joseph Callan said.

Rawner, the youngest of 14 children, lived with her parents who just stepped out to the grocery store and returned moments later to find their house destroyed and daughter dead.
