A judge has rejected former Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s attempt to keep his name out of documents related to the prostitution probe that forced him from office.
Judge Jed Rakoff in Manhattan federal court yesterday released a copy of an order he signed last week.
Rakoff said he understands Spitzer’s desire to “avoid another round of salacious coverage” but added that his sympathy cannot affect his ruling on the law.
