HILL AN ‘SNL’ SHTICK FIGURE

Hill-arious . . . Last night’s “Saturday Night Live” featured a surprise cameo from presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, who was greeted with cheers, even as the cast lampooned her long-windedness.

“The scene you just saw was a re-enactment – sort of – of last Tuesday’s debate and not an endorsement of one candidate over another” said the relaxed looking senator.

“I can say this confidently because when I asked if I could take it as an endorsement, I was told, absolutely not,” she said to laughs.

Moments before, Clinton, played by Amy Poehler, was skewered in a sketch on the Democratic debate, where the moderators fawned over Sen. Barack Obama, played by Fred Armisen.

Another New York politician, former mayor and presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani, also appeared on the show.

When asked what went wrong with campaign, he joked “My one big mistake was years ago when I appeared on this show wearing a dress.”
