The case against Remy Ma lost momentum yesterday as the third prosecution witness to the rapper’s alleged near-fatal shooting of a girlfriend last summer testified that she was drunk that night – and has no idea who pulled the trigger.
“I don’t recall seeing her at all,” 25-year-old teacher’s assistant Krystal Bolton testified of the rapper. “I just remember a light flashing and me running to [the victim] on the ground.”
So far, only one of the at least four young people who were present at the Meatpacking District shooting has testified for the prosecution that the rapper had a gun in her hand while approaching the car of victim Makeda Barnes-Joseph.
Barnes-Joseph may testify as early as today.
