UMA’S ‘STALKER’ ON TRIAL

“Kill Bill” siren Uma Thurman is braced for a courtroom showdown in Manhattan this week against the brainy but freaky psych patient charged with stalking her.

“Our eyes connected,” defendant Jackson Jordan told cops, describing how he first realized the star loved him while watching Thurman in a movie years ago.

The sensational trial is set to begin tomorrow with a pre-trial hearing, then jury selection – barring any last minute issues with Thurman staffers who are slotted to testify, a source familiar with the prosecutors’ plans said.

Thurman herself is ready tell her story to jurors this week, the source said, and is the most crucial of the prosecution’s witnesses.

Jordan, 36, of Massachusetts, is charged with misdemeanor stalking and aggravated harassment – charges requiring proof that the victim felt fearful, alarmed or at the very least annoyed. Only the victim can give jurors this crucial evidence about her state of mind.

The DA’s case has a major weakness, according to defense lawyer George Vomvolakis. Prosecutors will be hard-pressed to prove Jordan’s actions were intentional, he said.
