Tennis referee arrested for alleged murder of husband back to work at US Open

Umpire Lois “Lolo” Goodman, 71, who missed last year’s U.S. Open after being arrested in Manhattan for allegedly bludgeoning her husband to death with a coffee cup, was back to work Tuesday. Charges eventually were dropped.

“I can’t say anything, I’m positive,” Goodman told The Post before walking onto Court 6 to work the first-round clash between Argentina’s Horaciao Zeballos and Frenchman Adrian Mannarino. “Strict rules.”

Goodman was gracious, apologizing for not being able to give an interview on her travails.

USTA’s director of umpires Steve Kauffman cited USTA policy regarding the muzzle on Goodman: “I will not allow any of my umpires to speak to the media. Not just her. Anyone. It’s policy.”
