This is the statement today from former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey’s former driver and aide Teddy Pedersen after Dina Matos McGreevey denied Pedersen’s claims that they had engaged in three-way sexual trysts.
“Dina is still in denial. It’s time for her to face the truth. If Dina wants to take a lie detector test with me, I will sit down with her any time, any place. The only reason that I spoke to the media is because she dragged me into her divorce.
“I’m not gaining anything from this. This has been the hardest time in my life. It’s not something I ever wanted to discuss with my family or anyone.
What I have said publicly is nothing that I have not already said under oath in a court deposition. I have no reason to lie. If she wasn’t worried about me or what I might say why would she have ever subpoenaed me? That’s the most important question. If she has nothing to hide why am I being subpoenaed?”
