DILLER’S PAL TO RUN WEB SITE

Dethroned queen of buzz Tina Brown is going back to work – for Barry Diller to run a chatty Web site.

Brown made her move just days after Diller emerged victorious in a bitter legal fight with his mogul partner John Malone over who’ll control the future of their shared online assets.

Brown’s future in the online world built by Diller’s InterActiveCorp was regarded as more secure under her pal Diller than the cranky Malone, insiders said.

Diller’s company told The Post that she would aggregate information for a news Web site that is yet to be named. The spokesperson would not provide a launch date.

It wasn’t known whether she’d be compensated in shares or other units of IAC, or just buckets of cash for putting her touch on Diller’s new site.

Brown, whose fame came from editing Vanity Fair and The New Yorker, will go up against numerous successful aggregators, such as Arianna Huffington’s Huffington Post, which reportedly is valued at $200 million.
