Manhattan

* A 21-year-old Brooklyn man who was apparently drunk was struck and killed by a subway train yesterday, police said.

Stan Pales was found face down on the tracks after he was hit by a southbound E train at the 14th Street and Eighth Avenue station.

His relatives and friends insisted he was not drunk, saying he’d been working all night. They said he might have been pushed.

But police said they interviewed witnesses who told them Pales had not been involved in a fight, had not been pushed and was seen stumbling around the platform before the accident.

Brooklyn

* A customer at a Fort Greene store was arrested after exposing himself to a female employee and threatening her manager with a rock, cops said.

Khalfani Dobosu, 32, allegedly yelled at workers in the Payless Shoe Store at Flatbush and Atlantic avenues at about 5:50 p.m. Thursday, sources said.

After a cop warned him to stop acting up, Dobosu left. Later that day, though, he allegedly returned, exposed himself to the woman and ran away as her manager gave chase.

Cops spotted Dobosu nearby, allegedly threatening the manager with a rock. Dobosu was charged with menacing, weapon possession – the rock – and exposure of a person.

* A 27-year-old man was busted for smashing a window with a baby stroller during an argument in Bushwick, authorities said yesterday.

Domingo Espinal had been squatting for more than a year in the victim’s building on Bleecker Street near Evergreen Avenue, when tensions boiled over at about 1:40 p.m. Thursday, sources said.

Espinal allegedly told the manager he would never pay to live there and called him a wimp. Then Espinal grabbed the stroller and tossed it at the window, shattering it, cops said.

The landlord, 59, called police, and Espinal was charged with criminal mischief and harassment.

Queens

* A bogus cabby was busted at JFK Airport after he nearly struck a cop and several pedestrians before he crashed into a vehicle, authorities said yesterday.

Chevon Cole, 27, was offering a $40 ride to arriving passengers at Terminal 6 at around 11 a.m. on March 30, when a cop approached, authorities said.

He sped away, nearly clipping the officer, who jumped out of the way in the nick of time, sources said. Then Cole almost hit several pedestrians before slamming into another vehicle, according to police. No one was injured.

Cole was charged with reckless endangerment, attempted assault and unlawful solicitation of ground-transportation services, a spokeswoman for DA Richard Brown said.

* A city bus driver was slashed by a passenger yesterday in Howard Beach, police said.

The driver was cut on her hand at 11:35 a.m. on 165th Avenue and 104th Street after she told the suspect that his requested dropoff point was not on the route.

The suspect fled. The driver was OK after treatment at Jamaica Hospital.

Staten Island

* A drug suspect was collared after leading police on a car chase that ended with him crashing into another vehicle in New Dorp, authorities said yesterday.

Police saw Cashorn McMaster, 28, allegedly selling crack for $100 to someone at New Dorp Plaza and Jacques Avenue around 1 p.m. Thursday.

Afterward, McMaster, behind the wheel of a black Ford Taurus, allegedly sped away and tossed a bag containing 17 bags of crack out the window.

He blew through at least one stop sign and two red lights while cops were in hot pursuit, police said.

After racing through a third red light, McMaster crashed into another vehicle and tried to take off on foot before police caught up to him, authorities said.

McMaster was charged with drug sale, reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident, a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan said.

* A 21-year-old man tried to sneak out of trouble by giving a bogus name to police after he was caught trying to use a student MetroCard in St. George, authorities said yesterday.

But Carlos Perez, who is not a student, wound up in more trouble after cops questioning him found four glassine envelopes of marijuana in his pocket, police said.

Cops had approached him after he attempted to use the MetroCard to get into the St. George station of the Staten Island Railway at around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, authorities said.

Perez allegedly gave a fake name to avoid being caught on an active New York City Criminal Court warrant, the details of which were not available.

He was charged with criminal impersonation, theft of services and marijuana possession.

* Police nabbed a vandal who allegedly damaged an NYPD scooter and tossed a bottle at a UPS driver in Livingston, authorities said yesterday.

An officer saw Lionel Williams, 49, allegedly breaking the doors of the three-wheel scooter on Henderson Avenue and Chappell Street at around 12:50 p.m. Wednesday.

He then allegedly turned on a nearby UPS driver and started yelling at him.

Williams tossed a beer bottle at the driver, but missed, authorities said.

Williams was charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and drug possession after a crack pipe with residue was found in his shoe, sources said.

* A pistol-packing drug suspect was arrested after police spotted him lurking in a Fox Hills apartment building, authorities said yesterday.

Cops saw Jamal Cappe, 30, in the stairwell of the building on Park Hill Avenue and Roff Street at about noon Thursday, sources said.

Police recovered a loaded .357 Smith & Wesson revolver from Cappe’s waistband and three bags of crack cocaine from his pants pocket, cops said.

He was charged with weapon and drug possession.
