DADDY’S HOME AT ‘90210’ REVIVAL

IT wasn’t exactly the search for Scarlett O’Hara – but the new version of “90210” has finally found its dad.

Rob Estes has signed to play the new principal of West Beverly High and father of the Mills family, which is at the center of the much talked-about new series set for the CW next fall.

He became free for “90210” when the series he’d been working on this year, “Women’s Murder Club” with Angie Harmon, was canceled late last week. It’s not the first “90210” spin-off for Estes. He played Kyle McBride on “Melrose Place” for eight seasons in the ’90s.

The show’s cast was all but set last week with a mix of newcomers and familiar faces, including Lori Loughlin and Jennie Garth.

But the show’s producers were complaining that finding the right actor to play the father was proving to be difficult.

In the show, which starts filming next month, Estes plays the husband of Lori Loughlin and father of two teenagers.

The family moves back to Beverly Hills from the Midwest when Harry Mills takes a job as principal of his alma mater high school. –
