4TH FIREWORKS BASH A THUG BULLET FEST

A college co-ed was killed by gunfire today when a July Fourth barbecue in Brooklyn turned into a bullet festival that left four others wounded, including a wheelchair-bound man, police sources and witnesses said.

Zeanie White, 21, who attended York College, was among about 200 revelers enjoying food, drinks and music in the back of 969 Gates Ave.

in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 1:05 a.m., when a group of thugs crashed the party and unleashed a barrage of gunfire, police and witnesses said.

“It was mayhem. They were shooting at each other with police right there, one witness said, adding: “I heard about 40 gunshots. There were shots being fired everywhere you turned. These people were innocent bystanders.”

Police said it was unclear who was the target.

When the smoke cleared, White had been shot numerous times about the body, sources said. She died later at Kings County Hospital.

Denise White, Zeanie’s aunt, described the student as a “good girl” with a “bright future.”

“She was well-raised and well-respected. Her mother couldn’t ask for a better daughter. [Her parents] are devastated,” Denise White said.

Four others were also shot – including wheelchair-bound Christopher Williams – all of whom suffered wounds to their arms, legs and torsos, police sources said.

Williams, who was confined to a wheelchair after being shot about 10 years ago, was listed in critical condition at Kings County Hospital, police said.

The other surviving victims were admitted to the same hospital, where a 19-year-old woman was listed in critical condition and two others were in stable condition.
