JUDGE: NO ALIMONY FOR NJ GOVERNOR MCGREEVEY’S EX-WIFE

No alimony for you!

That’s what a New Jersey divorce court judge told Dina Matos in a decision handed down today in Matos’s bitter marital split from former Garden State gov Jim McGreevey.

Matos — who had asked for a nearly $1 million payout from the shamed pol — walked alway with just over $109,295, and child support for daughter Jacqueline.

Matos’s requests for a part of the proceeds of 2006 memoir — as well as a cash payout representing what she thought he could make in “celebrity goodwill” through lectures and other gigs — was also denied by the court.

Noting that Matos’ expenses and lifestyle were “clearly excessive,” Union County family court judge Karen M. Cassidy batted down the former First Lady’s request for $2,500 a month in alimony for the four-year marriage.

“[McGreevey] shall not have any alimony obligation to [Matos,] Cassidy wrote in a 55-page ruling.

Though finding that McGreevey — who is in seminary school and says he makes just $48,000 a year — is “underemployed,” Cassidy said that, even if he did make more, the amount Matos was seeking would “still make it difficult” for McGreevey to meet her alimony demands and still pay child support.

Cassidy ordered McGreevey to shell out $1,075 a month in child support. Matos — who earlier agreed to split custody of Jacqueline, 6 — had asked for $1,750 a month.

The judge ordered McGreevey to give his ex wife a total $109,295 — representing a 50-50 split of investment accounts.

Matos will also get an undisclosed sum representing half of McGreevey’s pension benefits for the duration of their marriage.

She, in turn, must fork over half the benefits accrued in her 401K plan from her hospital fundraiser job to McGreevey. Matos also has to give her ex $1,500 from a checking account they had when they were married, Cassidy ruled.

Both parties are on the hook for their own legal fees — which hit nearly $500,000 each during the bitter battle.
