* Claim to fame: She posed topless and then re-released the pictures when no one looked at them the first time around.
* Signature: Her delayed speech and perpetual smile.
* What you didn’t know: In January 2007, Patridge was one of the candidates running for “Hollywood Prom Queen,” but she lost.
Lo Bosworth

* Stars as: LC’s other blond, socialite roommate.
* Claim to fame: She’s best known for being a main character on the MTV reality series “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County,” before she got a nose job.
* Signature: She causes turbulence between LC and Audrina to get more camera time.
* What you didn’t know: Bosworth is the only “Hills” cast member with a college degree, having graduated from UCLA.
Lauren “LC” Conrad

* Stars as: Herself! Well, almost. LC is the star of her reality show, in which cameras follow her around LA doing essentially nothing. Oh wait – she’s a clothing designer!
* Claim to fame: Her first reality show! Conrad was the star of “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County,” which was eventually renamed “The Hills” when she, like, graduated.
* Signature: Her unyielding antipathy for her former best friend and sort-of co-star, Heidi Montag, who is also blond.
* What you didn’t know: She earns an estimated $1.5 million a year for playing a version of herself on television.
Whitney Port

* Stars as: A bystander on “The Hills” who really just wants to be a fashion stylist.
* Claim to fame: She’s a former fashion contributor for Teen Vogue, where she met LC and the MTV cameras.
* Signature: She’s tall as a giant.
* What you didn’t know: She started filming her own new reality show, where she’ll be showcasing her fashion career in New York City.
Heidi Montag
* Age: 22
* Stars as: Heidi Montag, girlfriend of Spencer Pratt.
* Claim to fame: Choosing a guy over her best friend LC in order to launch a Posh Beckham-like career with her badass, talentless boyfriend.
* Signature: Her fake, large breasts and surgery-sculpted nose.
* What you didn’t know: Montag is working on a music album and her first video will not star her in a pink bikini. She’s also a registered Republican and plans to vote for John McCain.
Blake Lively
* Age: 20
* Stars as: Serena van der Woodsen, a paradigm of teen perfection whose bad-girl antics are a perpetual source of gossip.
* Claim to fame: Played a soccer-loving adolescent, Bridget, who famously loses her virginity to a college surfer
in 2005’s “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.”
* Signature: Besides her gorgeous long (and likely fake) locks, Lively has a hot boyfriend, Penn Badgley, who’s also her “Gossip Girl” co-star.

* Claim to fame: In 1999, Meester was No. 387,496,597 on the list of actors to have appeared on the television series that accepts everyone, “Law and Order.”
* Signature: Her dazzling, doll-like face. Seriously, she’s that gorgeous.
* What you didn’t know: She was pop star Justin Chapin on the first season of “Entourage” and will reprise her role next season.
Jessica Karen Szohr

* Stars as: Vanessa Abrams, the daughter of hippie parents, and a budding filmmaker whose wit and charm landed her a hot fling with wealthy Nate Archibald.
* Claim to fame: Working as a Kohl’s department store model at the age of 16.
* Signature: Her superbly wild black curly hair. That’s right – she’s not a fake blonde! And the fact that such beauty can come from Milwaukee.

Taylor Michel Momsen

* Signature: She looks like a younger version of Anne Hathaway.
* What you didn’t know: Grimes contributed vocals for a holiday record from the band F – – – ed Up, which features her saying, “Merry f – – – ing Christmas!”
AnnaLynne McCord

* Stars as: Naomi Clark, a rich, spoiled and popular snob whose boyfriend is likely to be lured away by her nemesis.
* Claim to fame: Played the short-lived role of Eden Lord on “Nip/Tuck.”
