A newly installed surveillance camera caught a member of a cleaning crew breaking into a UN storage locker with a crowbar and stealing nearly 150 toner cartridges worth $25,000, authorities said.

Rayvon White, 33, was assigned to work at a UN building on East 42nd Street from May 10 to May 24, according to a Criminal Court complaint.

The toner belonged to TGI Office Automation, which rents the space from the United Nations.

White was arrested Monday and charged with grand larceny and burglary.

Queens

A man forced his way into a Flushing store and raped a 46-year-old woman, police said.

The attack occurred in the store on Union Street near Northern Boulevard at 4:50 p.m. Saturday, and the suspect was seen afterward on surveillance video looking over his shoulder as he quickly walked away, cops said.

The woman was taken to Queens General Hospital, police said.

The suspect was described as in his 40s and about 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds.

The Bronx

A man allegedly broke into a parked car in Mott Haven and swiped a cache of electronics.

Police said the suspect smashed in the rear passenger’s-side window of the vehicle on East 144th Street near Park Avenue at around noon on June 21.

He was caught on surveillance video taking a pair of Doctor Dre headphones, an iPad mini and a Dell laptop and then immediately fleeing the scene, cops said.

A man suspected of having beaten his mother to death with a hammer was found dead Wednesday in a Bronx hotel room in what investigators are treating as an apparent suicide.

Police had been looking for John Rodriguez ever since his mother, Magda Dagostino, 64, was found bludgeoned in her Norwood apartment at about 10:30 Tuesday, cops said.

When cops arrived at a nearby hotel at 1 p.m. Wednesday, they found Rodriguez, 39, in a bathtub.

His wrists had been slit, according to the officers.

A 34-year-old man is under arrest for murder after a home invasion turned into homicide in Foxhurst, police said.

Jason Tomczyk was collared Wednesday and charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

He allegedly shot Johnson Sanchez, 23, in the head in his Hoe Avenue Apartment at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene, cops said.

Brooklyn

A man who was shot dead Tuesday night during an argument in Crown Heights has been identified, authorities said.

Someone pumped four bullets into Jermaine Benjamin’s chest at 11:40 p.m. on St. Johns Place near Troy Avenue, cops said.

Benjamin, 32, was pronounced dead at Interfaith Hospital, police said.

The killer was still being sought last night, investigators said.

A 28-year-old man who was no stranger to law enforcement was shot and killed in Bushwick early yesterday, police said.

Angel Romero was standing outside an apartment building on Wilson Avenue near Schaefer Street at 1:10 a.m. when someone opened fire on him, cops said.

Romero was struck in the head, shoulder, arm and stomach and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No arrests had been made as of last night, and the motive had yet to be determined, investigators said.

Romero had several prior arrests for trespass, assault as a hate crime and weapon possession, sources said.

Staten Island

A man walked into a party at a catering hall in West New Brighton and waltzed out with the pocketbooks of two women, police said.

A suspect is believed to have entered Li Greci’s Staaten Catering Hall, on Forest Avenue, at about 5:30 p.m. June 15, made his way into a party room, snatched the purses and left.

The suspect was described as being in his late 20s and weighing around 170 pounds.
