‘Hernandez-ing’ now a twisted take on Tebow

It’s the opposite of Tebowing.

In a bit of gallows humor, Aaron Hernandez’s murder arrest has sparked an online wave of “Hernandez-ing” — with people posting photos with their arms tucked into their shirts like the ex-NFL star’s perp walk.

Even little kids got in on the action, and some users imitated the tattooed suspect’s pictures of himself holding a gun and cellphone.

The tight end first struck the shamed “Hernandez-ing” pose on Wednesday, when he was hauled out of his house by cops with his hands cuffed behind his back.

“I didn’t choose the thug life, the thug life chose me,” tweeted @joe_gilson, posing with his arms in his shirt while wearing a nearly identical outfit to Hernandez’s.

“my mom wanted to get in on this #hernandezing craze,” said Jeff Olin, who posted a family portrait.

The postings followed memes based on the on- and off-field antics of other football stars.

It started with Tebowing, where Twitter users mimicked the famously religious quarterback’s prayer pose.

Then came Te’o-ing, where they posed with invisible girlfriends, poking fun at the former Notre Dame linebacker, whose dead girlfriend ended up being a hoax.

Griffin-ing was named after a photo of Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III celebrating a touchdown while sitting with his legs out and both arms in the air.
