Fox Sports 1 is amped about Tuesday night’s episode of “Being,” which airs at 10 p.m. and focuses on the NYPD Football squad. The documentary, “Being: The Finest,” follows the NYPD’s semi-pro football team from the beginning of its season in April through its regular-season finale against the NYFD’s team, The Bravest (encompassed by the Fun City Bowl, which took place at Hofstra University in early June).
“Being: The Finest” is narrated by The Finest’s GM, Tony Hernandez, an active NYPD narcotics detective — and features Fox sports personalities Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Tony Siragusa, who called the Fun City Bowl (and will also be working the 2014 Super Bowl, which takes place in February at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.)
