Vile A’jad rips Israel & Western ‘hypocrisy’

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad took the stage last night at the United Nations and accused Israel of brutalizing the Palestinians for decades with “inhuman policies.”

“How can one imagine that the inhuman policies in Palestine may continue?” Ahmadinejad said to a General Assembly chamber that appeared at least half empty.

“How can crimes of the occupiers against defenseless women and children and destruction of their homes, farms, hospitals and schools be supported unconditionally by certain governments?” he added.

Ahmadinejad claimed the Israelis are bent on world political and economic domination.

“The awakening of nations and the expansion of freedom worldwide will no longer allow them to continue their hypocrisy and vicious attitudes,” he said.

Palestinians are “not allowed to rebuild their homes even, which were destroyed during the 22-day attack carried out by the Zionist regime.”

The Israeli and US delegations walked out on the speech.

In an apparent swipe at the West, he railed against countries who preach for democracy but then violate its principals routinely.

“The time has come to an end for those who define democracy and freedom and set standards when they themselves are the one to violate the standards,” he said.

In one particularly galling moment, the unrepentant Ahmadinejad — just over three months after his hard-line regime killed protesters disputing the results of Iran’s election — boasted about his nation’s “glorious and fully democratic elections.”
