Bill fender bender

Former President Bill Clinton’s van was rear-ended in Connecticut yesterday while he was on his way to deliver a commencement address at Yale.

A car trailing Clinton’s motorcade smacked into the vehicle, which was at a near standstill because of heavy traffic on the Merritt Parkway.

“Everybody in the passing lane slowed down, and we all slowed down, and one person didn’t,” Clinton said. “It happened to be the person behind us.”

No one was injured.

Clinton went on to deliver a speech to the Ivy League graduates, echoing anti-technology remarks made by President Obama two weeks ago at Hampton University.

“One problem we have in the modern world is, we’ve got access to more information than ever before, but we don’t all listen to the same information,” Clinton said.

He added that the world, “is too unstable; it is too unequal, and it is completely unsustainable.”
