Nobody in the Parks Department is going to poop on anyone’s pigeon-feeding party.
The people who enforce park rules gave out only five tickets last year for illegal bird feeding — and say it’s OK to feed the pigeons as long as there are no signs saying you can’t.
All five bird-feeding tickets were issued in Manhattan. Two were issued in Inwood Park, and one each were given in Riverside, Madison Square and Stuyvesant parks. The tickets, which come with a $50 fine, were a drop in the bucket compared with the 18,876 summonses and violations issued last year.
