Is glorious day for Kazakhstan’s not-so-favorite son.
“Borat” star Sacha Baron Cohen has married his longtime girlfriend, actress Isla Fisher, it was learned yesterday.
Baron Cohen, 38, and Fisher, 34, wed March 15 in a traditional Jewish ceremony in Paris, according to the Australian magazine Woman’s Day.
“We did it — we’re married!” Fisher, who starred in the movie “Confessions of a Shopaholic,” wrote in an e-mail to friends.
“It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much. I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss — just us.”
The two have a 2-year-old daughter.
