Flushing fire-slay ‘suicide try’ intrigue

A man was found with his throat slashed at the scene of a Queens fire yesterday in what investigators believe was a botched murder-suicide, police sources said.

Firefighters pulled a second man — suspected of killing the first — from the building on Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing. He later died.

The suspect stabbed the owner of an immigration office at about 3 p.m., then set the building ablaze, the sources said.

The violence may have stemmed from a dispute over immigration papers, NY1 reported.
