‘Slipper’y Madoff footwear sale

No one wants to be in Bernard Madoff’s shoes — but for the right price, you could own his slippers.

More than 400 of the notorious fraudster’s extravagant trinkets are hitting the auction block on Nov. 13, including his black velveteen slippers, replete with red quilt lining and gold embroidered “BLM.”

US marshals will put the trove of ill-gotten treasures up for sale at the Sheraton Hotel in Midtown. Proceeds will go to victims of Madoff’s massive $65 billion scam.

Other items include a $39,000 Steinway grand piano, wife Ruth’s 10.5-carat diamond ring valued at $300,000 and a statue of a bull.

Madoff is serving 150 years in a North Carolina federal lockup.

An auction last year of forfeited Madoff loot raked in $1 million. His Palm Beach, Fla., mansion sold last week for $5.65 million.
