Franchise fiend
Cops are trying to determine if the same man is responsible for two recent robberies at local fast food franchises.
Workers at a Flatlands Avenue Subway restaurant said that a man entered their store on Dec. 4 and took $240 from the till.
He reportedly entered the store, which is between E. 78th and E. 79th streets, at 8 pm and acted as if he had a gun in his pocket, but never showed his pistol.
No injuries were reported.
The next day someone raided a Dunkin’ Donuts on Ralph Avenue between E. 78th and E. 79th streets at 3 pm, also pretending to have a gun in his pocket, and fled with a small amount of cash, police were told.

Love hurts
A same-sex couple was arrested on Dec. 5 following a fight inside their E. 104th Street home.
Officials said the two young women were arguing in their apartment, which is between Avenues K and L, when the two lunged at each other. Each woman sustained scratches to their backs and necks and a window was also shattered, said cops when they arrested both women on assault charges.
Nabbed for burglary
Cops have arrested a 16-year-old in connection with an Oct. 27 burglary.
The victim locked her E. 82nd Street home, which is between Farragut and Glenwood roads, at 8:50 am and recalled seeing the thief and accomplice come toward the house.
Police said that the thief and his friend forced his way inside the home, removing a laptop computer, PlayStation 3 and a quantity of games.
Cops caught up with the 16-year-old on Dec. 2, police said, adding that his accomplice had been arrested a few weeks earlier.
Bus brute busted
An 18-year-old was arrested this week for a robbery on a B 46 bus rolling down Utica Avenue on Oct. 25.
Police said that the thug got on the bus at Avenue J at 5:15 pm, approached his 13-year-old victim and pulled up his shirt, revealing the gun he had tucked in his waistline.
He then grabbed his victim’s watch, and cellphone, before disembarking the bus.
Cops caught up with the teen on Dec. 5, charging him with robbery in the first degree.
Access-a-rob
A gun-toting thief was buzzed into a Foster Avenue Access-a-Ride office on Nov. 23, where he took $10,000 in receipts.
Workers at the store, which is near E. 105th Street, said that the thief approached security guards at 10 am claiming that he was there for a job interview.
Security guards had him sign in and sent him upstairs, where he robbed the payroll office, police were told.
Clothing creeps
Four thieves rushed into a high end clothing store on Glenwood Road on Nov. 16, where they swiped money and clothing.
The hooded thugs entered the store, which is near E. 96th Street, at about 5 pm, holding up workers at gunpoint.
They tried to open the cash registers, but couldn’t. Yet the money hungry miscreants weren’t deterred by this — they demanded the employees fork over their cash instead.
Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

Help wipe out graffiti
As the ongoing war against graffiti vandalism continues, cops are offering a $500 reward to anyone with information that can help them arrest neighborhood vandals.
The hefty reward is part of the city’s ongoing push to rid New York of graffiti, the leading quality of life complaint brought to police.
Anyone with information about graffiti vandalism in their neighborhood is urged to contact either 311 or 911.
