Parents saying, ‘Internyet!’

No Web for you!

Parents have rebooted the way they punish their kids, according to a University of Southern California survey that found that nearly twice as many yank Internet access nowadays as did a decade ago.

Sixty percent of the parents, who were surveyed last April, said they restrict TV use as punishment. That figure has been pretty much the same for a decade.

But when it came to the Internet, 57 percent of the parents said they limit their kids’ access — compared with 32 percent in 2000.
