A gunman shot a pimp to death and fired at two prostitutes – injuring one – as they sat in an idling green minivan early this morning in Brooklyn.
The weapon-wielding thug walked up to the window of the 2000 Dodge Caravan and aimed at the 44-year-old hustler behind the wheel at 2:11 a.m. in Brownsville – fatally hitting him in the lower back, police said.
Bullets shattered the windshield and pierced a 30-year-old prostitute in the right arm, torso and right leg as she sat in the passenger seat, police said.
After the attack, another lady of the night wrapped in a leopard coat and balancing on high-heels darted up and down the street shrieking, witnesses said.
“Somebody shot my cousin! A man shot my cousin!,” she wailed, according to witness Kathy Way, 47, who watched the aftermath of the grisly gunplay unfold from her Sterling Place window.
The shot woman limped as she exited the car, and sprawled across the vehicle’s hood covered in blood, witnesses said.
“I’m pregnant and I’m shot,” she cried, Way said.
Police said they took the unharmed woman in for questioning.
The injured woman is listed in stable condition at Brookdale hospital.
