Left’s signs of bad faith

Michelle Malkin is right (“So Much for Civility,” PostOpinion, Feb. 26).

The “elite” talk-show hosts and news stations spoke endlessly when Tea Party groups held demonstrations, and they bashed them for some “hateful” signs.

Where is the outcry over some of the vile, hateful and even vulgar signs from the demonstrators in Wisconsin?

Nothing the far left does any more surprises me.

You simply cannot disagree with its members or enter into real dialogue.

This is the elitist attitude that has been cultivated for decades since Woodrow Wilson and his progressive brethren, only now it is more lewd and vile.

Members of the far left don’t allow Ann Coulter to speak on college campuses, yet they paint her with a Hitler moustache while they act like fascists.

Being a liberal means never having to apologize for outrageous behavior.

As supporters of Big Labor, liberals espouse the theory that the end justifies the means.

Casting hypocrisy to the wind, they behave in a manner they rush to condemn when employed by their political opponents.

They appear unaware that out-of-control ideological belief renders its proponents blind to its consequences.

While Malkin performs her journalistic duties well, documenting the left’s continued vileness and President Obama’s predictable silence, is this news?

The left has always been incapable of civil dialogue — and cannot survive without it, as its unworkable policies are indefensible.
