Bashing a kids choir: Cohen strikes sour note

Bravo’s Andy Cohen has some nerve to bash the Staten Island choir that performed at the Oscars (“Oscar Grouch Trashes SI Kids,” March 2).

If he had kids performing, there would be no comments other than, “They were great.”

The students did fine and deserve praise. Cohen should offer them a pizza party as an apology.

Within the last few months, everyone has heard of PS 22’s choir.

This fabulous group rocked the universe with its energetic and harmonic sounds at the 83rd Academy Awards.

With the help of modern technology, their music will forever change the world.

Many viewers thought this year’s Academy Awards show was the worst ever.

Yet Cohen’s only complaint was the grammar-school students’ performance of “Over the Rainbow,” which many felt was the show’s only redeeming feature.

Cohen said, “I was looking for a knife to stick in my eyes, it was so terrible.”

That sounds like a good idea. Maybe then Cohen would get the “point.”

Finally, something great happens at the Oscars, and then we have to hear from Cohen.

If Cohen has kids of his own, I hope no one hurts them the way he hurt these children.

I will never watch Bravo again, and I will never buy any products the network advertises.

I hope the children know that not every adult feels this way.

You did great!
