Wright turn

Another heavy hitter has found a plush home in an Extell-developed building.

Mets slugger David Wright just signed a deal to live in the Lucida on East 85th Street. We hear that the third baseman is moving into a two-bedroom rental that was on the market for $12,000 a month. The eco-friendly building includes a La Palestra fitness center.

The Rushmore, another Extell building, recently became home base for a different third baseman: Yankee Alex Rodriguez. A-Rod left hedge-fund mogul/rock star haven 15 Central Park West for a Rushmore penthouse in the $6 million range.

307 West Furth

The late George Furth, a Tony-winning actor and playwright who collaborated with Stephen Sondheim, once called 307 W. Fourth St. home. Now the three-bedroom, four-bathroom, 3,899-square-foot townhouse is on the market for $6.7 million. The landmarked 1836 West Village townhouse has outdoor space on each floor. It is currently configured as an owner’s triplex (with a cellar) and top-floor one bedroom rental with a small office or second bedroom. David Schlamm and Karen Loew of City Connections Realty have the listing.

Noth west

“The Good Wife” star Chris Noth is renting a two-bedroom penthouse duplex around Lincoln Center that was asking close to $9,000 a month. Noth tells us he loves being close to the Theater District, where he is appearing in “That Championship Season.”

Noth’s penthouse rental is roomy enough for him, fiancée Tara Wilson and their 3-year-old son, Orion Christopher. Last week, we reported Noth might have been close to bidding on Rachel Uchitel’s Murray Hill three-bedroom. We’re told he considered renting it, not buying it.

The 411 on 101

A palatial spread at 101 Central Park West where Harrison Ford once lived is quietly back on the market for $26 million. The current owner of the duplex is Peter Briger, co-chairman of Fortress Investment Group. Briger is moving to San Francisco to open a new office for the asset management firm.

Ford lived in the apartment with his then wife, screenwriter Melissa Mathison, before putting it up for sale in 2003.

The Big Krakowski

Pregnant “30 Rock” star Jane Krakowski’s search for a family-sized apartment is no joke.

Krakowski, with a sizeable baby bulge, was spotted checking out the Cobblestone Lofts condo building at 28 Laight St.

A two-bedroom, 21/2-bathroom unit in the TriBeCa building is currently on the market for $3.1 million. The 2,686-square-foot corner loft includes a woodburning fireplace and an open chef’s kitchen.

Krakowski and her fiance, clothing designer Robert Godley, are expecting their first child next month.

Lots to chauffeur it

A wealthy Westchester couple being sued by their chauffeur and an employment agency now has more money to pay their help. They’ve made $12.5 million from a land sale.

Paul Bluhdorn recently closed on an all-cash deal to sell 100 acres of vacant land in posh Katonah to an undisclosed buyer, sources say.

A lawsuit filed by chauffeur George McKenzie alleges that Bluhdorn and his socialite wife, Paige, stiffed the driver out of more than $170,000 in overtime pay.

Hampton Domestics in Sag Harbor, LI, is also suing the Bluhdorns for allegedly refusing to pay a $25,000 fee after the agency placed personal chef Wil Crutchley with the couple.

The Bluhdorns fired back with a countersuit, alleging that Crutchley found them on his own and was a temporary employee.

We hear . . .

That Warburg broker and “Selling New York” star Richard Steinberg just slashed the price of a four-bedroom apartment in the storied but potentially cursed Apthorp. Steinberg dropped the price from $7.45 million to $6 million after bringing in feng shui master Carole Shashona-Meltzer to help sell the unit. Susan Sarandon, Julie Chen and Sheryl Crow are fans of her home-karma products . . . That +aRt, the West Chelsea condo building at 540 W. 28th St., will host Elle Décor’s Modern Life Concept House for three weekends in May and June.
