Cuppa joe a gal’s best friend

Forget the yoga studio, ladies. To stay healthy, head to Starbucks.

A study has found that women who drink coffee are 25 percent less likely to die from heart disease, compared to those who avoid the beverage.

The health benefits are enjoyed by women who down at least two or three cups of joe.

The study, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine and reported by Britain’s Daily Mail, also found that drinking up to six cups didn’t raise the risk of premature death.

It found that coffee provided no health benefit to men. Like women, they can drink six cups a day with no added risk.

The researchers, who examined 84,000 women and 42,000 men from the 1980s to 2004, could not explain why caffeine proved to be heart-healthy.
