Sure, Vincent D’Onofrio, 51, is a famous actor, but that doesn’t mean he’s exempt from the same New York-centric syndromes as the rest of us — in this case, Above-14th-Street-itis. “We used to live across from Tompkins Square Park,” he says. But he and his wife and their two kids, Elias, 11, and Luka, 3, needed more space so they moved up north to Stuy Town. “It’s the first time in a long time I’ve lived above 14th Street.” The actor, who will return to “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” for its final season in May, now stars “Kill the Irishman.” This is his New York. Il Buco, 47 Bond St., between Bowery and Lafayette Street “This is my wife’s and my favorite place. It’s just very Italian and the food is top quality. It’s low-key and comfortable. Everything is good there.” Tamara Beckwith

Mudd Club, formerly 77 White St., at Cortlandt Alley “I worked as a bouncer [back in the ’70s and ’80s], and those were the worst jobs that I had. Some of the clubs were pretty down and dirty back then — the Mudd Club, AM/PM, the Reggae Lounge. I was doing theater at the time, so everything I did was to make a buck. I didn’t really think of it as exciting, but I got to see some really cool bands that became huge afterwards. In hindsight, when I look back at it, I think it was pretty awesome that I saw the Talking Heads and Blondie and the Dead Kennedys and people like that before anyone else did.” Chris Walter/WireImage.com

Stuyvesant Town, 252 First Ave., at 14th Street “All I do is hang out with my kids. I wish I could say I do more exciting things, but when you have a 3-year-old boy and an 11-year-old boy, they attach themselves to you like appendages. I’m with them all the time. My kids and I go to Stuy Town to go sledding in the winter a lot. The hills are little and not too crazy but still fun.”

Gamestop, 107 E. 14th St., at Fourth Avenue “We visit a lot for video games. My 11-year-old is into battle games, like all the boys are. I play with him. I like whatever he’s into. Right now, he’s into ‘Kill Zone.’ “

Bleecker Street, at Houston Street “Back when I was doing a lot of films, it was very rare to shoot in New York. The biggest one back then was ‘Men in Black.’ We did some stuff in the West Village and on Bleecker Street right around Houston. When I pass those areas, there are particular scenes I can remember shooting from that movie. But for the show, ‘Criminal Intent,’ we filmed everywhere, so at this point in my life, all I have to do is walk two or three blocks, and I’ll see places we’ve shot at.”
