Ryan among Jets hit with lockout pay cuts

With the NFL lockout in force, the Jets will enact their contingency plan, which includes furloughs and pay cuts.

Beginning this week, all contract employees, which include the coaching staff and general manager Mike Tannenbaum, will have their salaries cut by 25 percent and all non-contract employees will begin a one-week-per-month unpaid furlough.

If a new collective bargaining agreement is reached and the lockout is ended before any games are canceled (including preseason), all employees will be made “whole” again, which means they’ll have all lost wages reimbursed.
