Kim’s crime passion

Kim Kardashian, who turned 30 last fall, is branching out to new realities.

On Monday, the “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” star tweeted about her keen interest in the Casey Anthony murder case in Florida.

Not only that, but she says that if she wasn’t on TV, she’d be either a crime scene investigator or a CSI make-up artist.

Who knew?

“I grew up with my father as an attorney, so I generally have always been interested in criminal cases and forensics,” Kardashian told The Post yesterday via e-mail.

“I used to ask so many questions and be so intrigued by different cases.”

Kardashian’s late father, Robert Kardashian, was a noted attorney — most famously for his good friend, OJ Simpson, during Simpson’s murder trial.

Kim says her interest in the Casey Anthony case was stoked during a recent visit to Florida. (Anthony is charged with murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.)

“That was the topic on every news station,” she said. “I was very interested to see what [Anthony’s] defense will be since there is an overwhelming amount of evidence against Casey.”

Kardashian said, though, that she really “loves” reality TV and wants to branch out in the genre.

“I love executive producing, which is probably what I will dive into next,” she said, adding she has “no exec plans yet.”
