MTA’s rail-istic ads

The trains won’t be the only things moving in the subway — the advertisements will, too.

The MTA says it will roll out video screens in subway cars and stations to display ads. And straphangers who look out windows will see more than blank tunnel walls. The agency will also create 3-D commercials to flash sequentially along tunnel walls.

Similar in-tunnel ads already grab commuters’ eyes in Washington, DC’s Metro system.
