CONCORD, NH — A New Hampshire man held a New York woman captive in his home and raped her for three days after he responded to her Craigslist ad, police said.
Jeffrey Gray, 48, had answered the unnamed woman’s ad, in which she said she was seeking a fresh start in New England, police said. He was arraigned in Salem District Court yesterday on charges of kidnapping, rape, false imprisonment and assault and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Windham Police Capt. Mike Caron would not say how the 34-year-old woman was restrained.
