Adam Lambert kicked out of Lady Gaga’s birthday bash for rowdy behavior

LOS ANGELES — Lady Gaga asked security guards to eject former “American Idol” contestant Adam Lambert from her birthday party after he punched a hole in the ceiling and tried to smear cake on her face, Us Weekly reported Thursday.

Lambert, 29, attended the bash at La Cita Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles Sunday night as a guest of pop group the Scissor Sisters, who are supporting Lady Gaga on her current concert tour.

Gossip blogger Perez Hilton told the Morning Dish radio program Thursday that Lambert was “super sloppy embarrassingly drunk.”

The “Whataya Want From Me” singer punched a wall in the restaurant’s low ceiling and tried to serenade Gaga in a move reminiscent of his “Idol” auditions, Us Weekly reported.

“Adam acted like an animal. When they brought the cake out he tried to smear it in Gaga’s face and put a doll from the cake in her mouth,” an eyewitness said.

The birthday girl then asked security guards to kick Lambert out, the witness added.

Lambert tweeted late Wednesday, “Was trying for celebratory gesture 4 gaga’s B- pinata style…instead my fist is all bruised and la cita has a hole in the ceiling. #sloppy.”
