Victim: ‘I feel bad for him’

A 13-year-old Muslim girl described yesterday how a tiny thug terrorized her for weeks, even trying to tear off her traditional headdress as he taunted her for her faith — but she amazingly has sympathy for the sadistic Staten Island schoolboy.

“I kind of feel bad for him,” the girl said. “I think he’s missing his studies.”

Recounting her ordeal in January at the hands of 11-year-old Osman Daramy, the US-born honors student said, “He pushed me in the snow. And when I got up, he said, ‘Oh, you’re a Muslim.’

“I said, ‘Leave me alone!’ ”

But the girl, whose name The Post is withholding, said Osman and his gal-pal accomplice kept coming after her.

“They called me a terrorist a couple of times. They pulled my hair,” said the victim, who is the daughter of Pakistani immigrants.

The attack left her with marks on her back and a swollen lip.

“I’m not really sure if he was doing it because I was a Muslim, or just because he was trying to have fun,” said the girl, a math whiz who helps teachers at Dreyfus Intermediate School help tutor other kids after school.

“They should not hurt Muslim people. They should not hurt anyone because of their race.”
