Sean Parker, Napster co-founder and Zuckerberg mentor, gets engaged to singer

Napster co-founder Sean Parker, who was also Facebook’s first president, is engaged, People reported late Monday.

A representative for Parker confirmed that he is engaged to New York-based singer and songwriter Alexandra Lenas.

Justin Timberlake portrayed Parker in the Oscar-winning movie “The Social Network,” a dramatization of the story of Facebook’s founding, based on Ben Mezrich’s 2009 book “The Accidental Billionaires.” In the film, Parker serves as a mentor to the young Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

The real-life Parker called the movie “a complete work of fiction.” Parker left Facebook in 2005 after he was arrested on suspicion of cocaine possession. He was not charged due to lack of evidence.
