Judge Judy to return to courtroom next week after hospitalization

LOS ANGELES — TV personality Judge Judy will return to the bench next week after she was rushed to the hospital suffering intestinal discomfort, Radar Online reported Tuesday.

The TV judge, whose full name is Judith Sheindlin, “is feeling better and will be returning to work in Los Angeles to shoot new cases on April 12 and 13,” a source close to her show said.

Sheindlin, 68, was taken to by ambulance to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for tests on March 30 after suffering nausea and intestinal discomfort while taping her syndicated show “Judge Judy.”

“I was feeling funky,” she told entertainment website TMZ. “Funky enough that I knew someone should give a gander over what I got.”

Sheindlin had an MRI and other tests at the hospital, and was released the next day.
