Chuck Lorre has taken another vanity-card swipe at Charlie Sheen after a short truce.
The “Two and a Half Men” creator has, in the past few months, used his producer’s logo (often called a “vanity card”) at the end of his shows to post messages about Sheen — who’s suing Lorre and Warner Bros. for $100 million after being fired from the CBS sitcom.
Lorre posted a message on his vanity card at the end of Thursday night’s “The Big Bang Theory” (which he co-created). He didn’t mention Sheen by name, but it was obvious he was referring to his situation with the troubled actor.
“Whenever I’ve gone through tough times, well-meaning people have told me that God/universe does not give us more than we can handle,” he wrote in part.
“Well, I’ve been going through a time recently . . . After some careful consideration, I’ve decided it’s bull****!”
