Softball roundup: D’Amico’s no-no leads Lab Museum United

Sarah D’Amico twirled a five-inning no-hitter and struck out 15 batters to lead Lab Museum United to a 12-0 win over Norman Thomas in Manhattan B-II softball Tuesday at Harlem River Park.

Lisbet Lorenzo and Maggie Lautenslager each had two RBIs for LMU (2-1), which went to the PSAL Class B championship last year. Thomas is 2-1.

Telecom 18, Sheepshead Bay 1: Jessica Sacco went 2-for-2 with two home runs, six RBIs and two runs scored and Liza Acevedo was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs for Telecom (6-0 Brooklyn B-I). Cristina Morales gave up one run on four hits and struck out seven in four innings. Sheepshead is 0-6.

PSAL CLASS A

Richmond Hill 17, Lane 7: Paula Estevez went 1-for-2 with two RBIs and four runs to lead Richmond Hill (1-4 Queens A-II). Lane is 0-5.

CHSAA BRONX/WESTCHESTER

Cardinal Spellman 17, Good Counsel 3: Victoria Quinones was 2-for-2 with three RBIs and two runs scored and Joanne Guerra went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI for Cardinal Spellman (1-0) in CHSAA Bronx/Westchester. Maya Lambert added two hits and three runs. Victoria Rondon allowed three hits and struck out five over five innings.
